Babyshambles Signs £1 million Record Contract

Parlophone have aparently paid £1 million to sign former Libertines frontman Peter Doherty and his band Babyshambles.

Kevin McCabe (Parlophone) : "It's true that Pete and Babyshambles have been given the record deal - I can't confirm the specific details as to whether it's a three album deal, but he has signed."

Babyshambles, justifiably, have a great reputation for crafting some of the most exciting music around today, and in Peter Doherty they have one of the best songwriters of his generation.
